Draw Overview (version 0.0.3)

When attempting to perform an action or challenge, players will often need to draw some cards to determine the outcome. The number of cards drawn is determined the ability score associated with the action. For instance, if a player is trying to outrun a beast, they would draw a number of cards equal to the score of their Move ability. To determine the results, compare the highest card drawn to the target difficulty (provided by the Narrator). If the value of that card meets or exceeds the target number, then the action was successful.

Example:

You wish to quickly climb over a 1.5 meters (about 5′) barrier, which the Narrator has determined to have a difficulty of 7. In order to perform this action, you need to use the Move ability (referenced on your character sheet). With a Move score of 4, you would draw 4 cards with the hopes of drawing a 7 or higher. With a Move score of 2, you would draw 2 cards with the hope of drawing a 7 or higher. All draws must come from a freshly shuffled Probability deck.
